Summer Research Training Program - How to Apply

2017 OSU Center for Veterinary Health Sciences Summer Research Scholars Program

Please read the following information and complete the two applications forms: Summer Research Student Application and SRTP Background Data Sheet

May 15th - Aug. 12th (includes one vacation week)

Applications are now being accepted from first and second year veterinary students and research motivated, pre-veterinary undergraduate students to participate in the 2017 Summer Research Scholars Program sponsored by Merial Ltd and the Center for Veterinary Health Sciences. This prestigious program pairs research scholars with Oklahoma scientists to provide a well-mentored opportunity in the exciting field of veterinary biomedical research. The program includes a weekly seminar series, opportunities to present data orally and as posters, and field trips to various research facilities to learn of career opportunities in veterinary biomedical research. The summer ends with a presentation of each participants’ data during OSU-CVHS Research Poster Day (Date TBD) and a trip to the National Program Meeting, where veterinary students from all over the US gather and present their data from their summer research projects (August 3-6, hosted by Michigan State University).
