Dual/Concurrent Enrollment in Graduate and Professional Degree Programs

As a current DVM student, you are eligible for concurrent enrollment in one of two dual degree programs at minimal cost to you:

  1. Dual DVM/Masters of Business Administration
  2. Dual DVM/Masters of Public Health

As a dual professional/graduate student, the graduate college waives tuition and duplicate fees for these programs, as long as enrollment is concurrent. Since most courses are offered online, there will be a per credit hour online/outreach fee assessed: approximately $95 to $100 per credit hour. For MBA students, there will also be a Graduate Program Fee of $6.00 per credit hour. Visit the Bursar's Office website and scroll down to the bottom of the page to view online/outreach fees.

When a student is taking only graduate courses (i.e. summer session), the student is responsible for all tuition and corresponding fees.

The OSU Graduate College has provided a Memorandum of Understanding that outlines this dual process. View the Memorandum of Understanding.

The Application/Enrollment Process

To begin the process, you must follow the step-by-step instructions below:

  1. Notify Michelle Kuehn (108 McElroy Hall) of your intent to participate in the dual/concurrent enrollment program.
  2. Contact the MBA or MPH coordinators before applying.
  3. Apply through the CollegeNET system. There is a $50 application fee.

It is crucial that, once enrollment has opened, you complete and return the Petition to Enroll in Excessive Hours form to Michelle Kuehn in108 McElroy Hall. This form must be approved for enrollment in both programs to take place and can sometimes take two to three weeks to process.
