OSU’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences is proud to announce that one of its teaching assistants has won the prestigious Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award given by the Graduate and Professional Student Government Association. Manushree Bharadwaj, BVSc, was selected as the single recipient of this campus wide award. She received a $350 cash prize and a certificate.

At just 9 months old, Tripp Traw weighs over 80 pounds.  He is a Great Pyrenees mix owned by JoAnn Traw of Farmington, Ark. The puppy underwent surgery at Oklahoma State’s Veterinary Medical Hospital for a common problem in young, growing large breed dogs—OCD.

If you own or are interested in having a pet bird, the next Veterinary Voices Seminar is for you. Joao Brandao, LMV, MS, will present “Pet birds: How to provide the best environment for your pet bird” on Tuesday, May 5, at 7 p.m. in McElroy Hall Auditorium at OSU’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences. McElroy Hall is located on the corner of McFarland and West Farm Road on the OSU Stillwater campus.
