OSU Veterinary Center Offers Horse Owners More Options

Thanks to a $1 million lead gift from the E. L. and Thelma Gaylord Foundation, OSU’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences recently opened the Gaylord Center for Excellence in Equine Health. Located adjacent to the equine barn inside OSU’s Veterinary Medical Hospital, the Gaylord Center allows OSU veterinarians the capability to offer horse owners more treatment options.

Dr. Kristie Plunkett Wildlife Fund Helps Owl

A barred owl is treated and released back to the wild thanks to donor Mr. Bryan Close. Close established the Dr. Kristie Plunkett Wildlife Fund to help provide the means for OSU's Veterinary Medical Hospital to treat wildlife.

OSU's Veterinary Center Launches a New Website

(Stillwater, Okla., December 15, 2014) – Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences recently revamped its website (www.cvhs.okstate.edu). Web designer Paul West worked hard to create a new website that engages its audience—students, faculty, veterinary clients and alumni. 

Veterinary Medical Hospital Construction Reaches Milestone

(Stillwater, Okla., December 12, 2014) – Several Oklahoma State University administration and faculty members gathered this morning at OSU’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences to celebrate a milestone in the construction of a new faculty office building.  A Topping Out Ceremony was held marking the completion of the building’s framework.
