Kulasooriya Wins 3MT® Competition

Bhagya Kulasooriya

Bhagya Kulasooriya won first place and the People’s Choice Award in the Three Minute Thesis Competition held recently at Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences. Kulasooriya is a master’s student and graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Veterinary Pathobiology mentored by Dr. Susan Little.

Kulasooriya presented “Ticks Beyond Borders” discussing her research project within the three minute time limit in laymen’s terms using one slide. She now moves on to represent the Center in the University-wide competition.
