Oklahoma State Veterinary Center Awards 2018 Honors

Thanks to the generosity of its donors, Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences recently awarded $551,700 to 146 veterinary students.

Kara Holland (second from left) and Emily Davis (second from right) each received an American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Certificate of Clinical Excellence for demonstrating a sincere interest in veterinary internal medicine and proven outstanding didactic and clinical expertise. Both Holland and Davis were recognized for their small animal medicine skills. Also receiving an ACVIM Certificate of Excellence was Kaitlyn Belanger in recognition of her large animal veterinary medicine skills.

In a League of Our Own: AAHA Accredited

In 1983, Oklahoma State University’s Veterinary Medical Hospital joined a league of its own by becoming accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). AAHA is the only institution that accredits companion veterinary hospitals in the U.S. and Canada.
